DESCRIPTION:Register Here \n\n\n\nThis event marks the beginning of a new Community of Practice aimed at supporting all University of Manitoba (UM) community members with their innovation and entrepreneurship interests.\n\nThe Community is a result of joint efforts of various partners within the UM Ecosystem including IDEA START\, Partnerships Knowledge Mobilisation and Partnerships (PKMI) Office\, Lab2Market Prairies Hub and the Faculty of Science Innovation Hub.\n\nThe inaugural community meetup will feature an expert talk on how to raise funds for an idea-stage startup\, providing valuable insights for budding entrepreneurs. Additionally\, there will be a fun "Founder Game" activity designed to practice rapid ideation\, fostering creativity and collaboration among participants.\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with mentors\, investors\, experts\, and practitioners\, gaining valuable connections and knowledge.
