Ben Isakov, the Startup Coach at the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship is a trained professional who provides guidance, support, and mentorship to students, faculty, and alumni who are interested in starting and growing their own businesses or ventures.

The role of a startup coach is to help entrepreneurs develop their ideas and turn them into successful businesses. They work closely with their students to understand their goals and challenges, provide feedback and guidance, and help them navigate the complexities of launching and growing a venture. They can provide advice on a wide range of topics, including business planning, marketing, fundraising, team building, and operations.

The Startup Coach Program at the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship is a free resource available to all University of Manitoba students to help lead them in their entrepreneurial journey. Students are encouraged to book a meeting in person or virtually at any stage in the start-up to receive valuable feedback in idea vetting, feasibility studies, financial modelling, market research, cash flow projections, or to simply bounce around ideas with another entrepreneur!
