Reporting to the Corporate Projects and Architecture Manager, the Enterprise Business Analyst works closely with internal business and IT stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements with expertise in specific functional areas to document current and future state processes, identify gaps and initiate process improvement activities leading to efficiency improvements throughout the corporation.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. 
  • In depth business analyst experience in one or more domains: Financial, Insurance, Banking, or Agriculture.  
  • Business analysis experience defining detailed business and process requirements and specifications. 
  • Technical writing skills with experience in defining, documenting, reviewing and approving requirements for business processes and systems. 
  • Experience using business modelling and data modeling. 
  • Experience with requirements elicitation and data gathering techniques. 
  • Experience analyzing business needs and processes to assist in identifying project impacts. 
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Experience as the primary author of business cases, is an asset.
  • Experience converting Business Requirements into Functional and Technical Requirements.
  • Knowledge of various project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with relevant industry standards, such as IIBA and PMI, is an asset.
  • Experience in research, design, development and delivery of presentations to technical and non-technical audiences, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of project management methods, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Visio, Sparx EA or other process mapping tools, is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate verbally in both official languages (French and English), is an asset.
 
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
SALARY:                                   $80,910 to $105,365 per annum
